We are currently seeking an individual to fill the role of Full Stack Web Developer. You will be tasked with design, development, and ownership of web related tools and applications to satisfy internal and external initiatives. We are looking for an individual who maintains a solid understanding of the web ecosystem to help us expand our platform.


Job Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan OR Remote


Must Haves:

  • Proven work experience in software development with a focus on web technology
  • You must demonstrate knowledge of tools that super charge a developer’s workflow like git, IDE’s, and common open-source frameworks
  • A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills and be able to interact effectively with a team of like-minded individuals
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have an eligible work permit for Canada


Advantages:

  • A minimum of 3 years of software experience is preferred
  • Familiar with standard software development life cycles
  • Experience with continuous integration practices
  • Knowledge of standard IT like networking and OS
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience


Role:

  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
  • Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
  • Create and maintain software documentation
  • Maintain, expand, and scale web applications
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
  • Provide technical leadership for projects, including service reliability, build and deploy automation, scalability, and performance
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues
  • Other duties as required
